(Or just keep reading if you only want to know about this site.) Hello, visitor! I'm Axle the Beast (but just call me Axle, everyone does), and I'm the creator of this website, Earthenta! I'm going to go on the assumption that you want to know more about this site, considering which section you picked and all. I think I'm pretty close, right? This site is about imagination, entertainment, fun, art, fantasy, science fiction, and all things geeky. And I mean this just about literally. We cater to those who enjoy various forms of entertainment and art (preferably things of science fiction or fantasy). Whether that means providing data on something, showing you cool stuff, offering entertainment on the site itself, or just messing around and having fun, I hope that this site can be helpful. All I really want is to provide a site about pop culture, art, and other cool things, and to do it in a fun or humorous way. I could describe the site again and again with totally different wording, and while that would certainly fill up all the empty spaces on this page with text, I don't really want to do that. Besides, I think you've gotten the idea. Instead, I will now shut up about that and tell you some of the site's history. In reality, the beginning of the site was a long time ago, before I even knew HTML. I surfed sites, message boards, and the like. I decided I wanted to make a pleasant site and a pleasant community for having fun. Eventually, I made a message board with InvisionFree, and invited some of my friends over. I also used FreeWebs to make a main site, where I posted some of my writing and levels made in various computer games' level editors. Nothing much happened, though the site did gradually get more members (mostly more of my friends). The site kind of sucked. It kind of sucked bad. (If you want to know more about the old website, click "About Old Site" above.) Fast forward to when I realized how bad it sucked, and I began thinking of how to make things better. I first intended to trick out the current site, but instead, decided to make a new site. This time I wasn't going to use a crappy premade layout like those that FreeWebs provided, this time I was going to actually LEARN HTML (Dun dun DUN)! Yeah, well, that took a considerable about of time. So did the actual construction of the website. In fact, it probably (okay, definitely) took a lot longer than it needed to. I ran into a serious case of procrastination, as well as a torrent of computer problems, plus personal issues, not to mention a ton of debating with myself on what my site was actually going to be about. Once again, fast forward to about now, several years later, when I finally finish the fricken' thing. And, well, here it is. If you want to know what the hell is up with the site's name, click "About Earthenta" up above. So, that's the story of this site. It's past, it's birth, it's... other... things. This was a very long winded blob of text, which isn't something I normally do unless it's some kind of trippy fantasy story, so I hope you're happy.
