This is the Caption Contest, where we provide a picture and you come up with a caption for it. There isn't really a prize other than being mentioned as the winner. Though we sometimes put the winning caption on the picture and put it up on the site. That's pretty cool. Anyway, the way the contest goes is when it begins on Monday, you have a week to submit captions (you can submit as many as you want) to the judge for the current contest. The judge will provide their own caption, though it isn't actually eligible to win, it's just there for coolness. At the end of the week, the judge picks the winner and a few Honorable Mentions. That picture is then added to the archive, and a new contest starts. One more note, however, is that the caption can't be very sexual. I guess a little bit of mild dirty humor might be okay, but it's really up to the judge to decide, so we make no promises. Swearing is generally fine as it can usually be censored.
Important! - Since Earthenta is a new site, we're not sure how many captions are going to be submitted, or even if it's going to be enough to actually warrant this contest. As such, this first Caption Contest (and possibly a few following ones) could possibly last longer than a week. We'll have to see.
